August 25, 2018Fondly remember reading this series while at 6th form college back in the 80s, either by getting a copy from the local library or buying a new issue (and Mr Whiting did seem to write them so quickly!), from WH Smith.
As a teenager, I too joined the Armed Forces and have just read via the biography elsewhere on this site, that I also share the fact that I was in Bielefeld and have visited Trier, West Germany too.
Happy memories.
